If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, there was this cute li’l movie that came out last summer called Julie & Julia starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.  The film simultaneously follows two storylines; we learn how the life of cooking sensation Julia Child and her journey to bring French cooking into American homes influences the life of writer Julie Powell.

Iintially I did not have a strong desire to see the film, but my mother put the DVD on after Thanksgiving dinner and I was too tired to get off the floor to drive home.

You can always check out the movie’s wiki or IMDB profile for loads more info than I could give you.  The best way to learn more would probably be to just pick up the movie don DVD or Blu-Ray!

Happy New Year, everyone!  What are your resolutions?  Do you even do resolutions?  I don’t.  Just don’t.  I hope you resolve to read the comics I’ll be doing this year.  Since there’ll be more of ‘em an all.

Don’t you just love it when people tell you stuff for your own damn good and they DON’T BLOODY LISTEN?!  There’s a reason the sign says “Don’t Feed the Bears.”  It’s because they burst into flames and shoot lightning bolts out their arses when the food runs out!
