Merry Christmas, yo! Just thought I’d drop a li’l hey-howzit-goin’ at least once more before the year ended. While life is a bit weird right now, it is starting to mellow out a bit. I don’t do New Year Resolutions, but I will make a promise to bring back this strip on a strict, consitant schedule next year.

I hope you like the new design for the site. I plan on making some changes, but it works for now.

A new reason for me to be more diligent: PRINTS! Yes, that’s right, I am making prints of my comics available to you, my loyal readers! So go back, look for your favourite, and let me know what your favourites are!

The Return of Ted & Zed (again)

So things are getting back to normal. Again. I know I keep saying that. Maybe one of these days I won’t be lying? Anywho, I see T&Z back for 3 a week updates. This one was late because of a crap day, but I promise another on Wednesday and Friday. MWF Updates every week now! And if things start picking up again, we may get back to daily updates by the fall! YAY!

I do have a lot of projects going on right now, so that’s hindering things. Assuming I can get my act together, I’ll have a new webcomic launching 9/1.

“But, Mac (yes, you can still call me that), how do you expect to keep up with yet ANOTHER webcomic?!”

Quite simply, actually. I’m only doing the writing on this new comic and it will be a once-uh-weeker to start. Monday updates, maybe moving to M&TH after the New Year. It all depends on my artist. More details as we get closer. You should like it.

I’m also doing a monthly strip exclusive to magazines! This one is called Metroplex and can be found in the online periodical The Last Reel. The first episode will be published in their third issue which comes out (I beleeeeeve) in the first week of September. Just go over to MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/thelastreel) and add them or bookmark the page so you can download the magazine. It’s all about movie stuff

Luckily the divorce is coming to a close and the headache associated with it (for the most part) is over. I hope it’ll stay this way

Another Transformation

Hey, guys! As I’ve said in my MySpace blog, this site is going through a complete overhaul (again). I think you’ll like what I’ve got in store for youse guys. The first phase is just about complete. Hopefully you notice AND appreciate the changes. The next phase is to go back and reformat all of the previous comics to make sure they fit on the page. In the mean time, you can view them all at my Drunk Duck page.

And thanks to everyone for all your well-wishes and concerned emails. I feel SOOO much better! Apparently I was able to fight off that pesky solanum virus. I swear, I have the constitution of a cockroach! For those of you unfamiliar with the “solanum virus”, I recommend you rush out and pick up a copy of Max Brooks’ The Zombie Survival Guide. You should find it misshelved in the “HUMOR” section…

Gettin’ Back On The Horse

So time for some real news! I’ve finally got my schedule up and running. I’m ahead by a week now (yay) and will have new comics updated regularly. New comic days will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Yeah, I know this sounds familiar…

“But, MAC! We’ve heard this all before! How can we trust you?!”

Well just take my word for it! I’ve got a new secret weapon in my arsenal! The only problem may be with my internet connection. It’s been on the fritz lately, so that may push things back to VERY late in the night, but they should still be coming 3 days a week. Just keep checking back. I’m sure you’ll be pleasently surprised! Unless, of course, you already believe me. Then you’ll be like, well, he said he was updating! Hope he doesn’t want a cookie…

But I will. I’ll take that cookie.

What’s Up With Mac?

The Return of Ted & Zed?

Ted & Zed are back! Even if only low doses.

It’s not fair for you to have to suffer the loss of the boys just because I don’t have the time to do the not-so-awesome job you’re all so used to enjoying. So I’ve decided to do a new “hi/low-tech” version of the strip.

I’ve switched to a hand-drawn version using my quasi-new Wacom Bamboo tablet. This thing rocks!

I really hope you enjoy this! New episodes will begin on Monday.

Zed is growing into his zombieness quite well! New stink, too. I guess that’s just something that takes time to get used to. Lots of time.

Look! New joints! And Zed’s colouration is getting a bit muddled.

Yeah, I know today’s comic looks a bit more pixilated than usual. I’m going to see about fixing that today. Hang tight!

The Battlestation Is Operational!

Go ahead and pinch yourself… Ted and Zed are back! This isn’t going to be one of those “Is he really back?” things. My battlestation is operating at full capacity now! Or, as close to it as it’s ever going to get. Regardless! No sooner do I decide to start updating Ted & Zed on paper with pen until my computer is working again then, POOF, it starts working! Is that all?! I just had to decide I didn’t need it anymore before it’d let me use it?!

I am, however, dialing things back to a weekly strip. Lots of things have been going on in my life
(some of which I’ll let you in on as the weeks progress) that have kept me from updating. Trust me, I’m back… in lower doses so pace yourself.
