If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, there was this cute li’l movie that came out last summer called Julie & Julia starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. The film simultaneously follows two storylines; we learn how the life of cooking sensation Julia Child and her journey to bring French cooking into American homes influences the life of writer Julie Powell.
Iintially I did not have a strong desire to see the film, but my mother put the DVD on after Thanksgiving dinner and I was too tired to get off the floor to drive home.
You can always check out the movie’s wiki or IMDB profile for loads more info than I could give you. The best way to learn more would probably be to just pick up the movie don DVD or Blu-Ray!
